Kecedra Kernisant

Kecedra began her career as a model for Venus Swimwear and BodyXpressions Swimwear. Modeling paved the way for her first acting role in the feature film Tigerland. Since then, Kecedra has appeared in several independent films such as 2 Heads, 1 Brain and Tree of Good and Evil. Her theatrical debut was playing the role of Mattie Campbell in the Tony Award Winning play Joe Turner’s Come and Gone. Since then, Kecedra has been in other theatrical productions including City of Passion – an episodic series, which she wrote, produced, and directed. She has also appeared in several TV Commercials and performed music live in concert as a guest hip-hop artist.
Kecedra was previously an acting instructor for John Casablanca, and currently has her own Acting Instruction Program for youths ages 6-13. She is grateful for the opportunity to be a part of a project as brilliant as Underclass Heroes. Kecedra thanks her supportive family and Kim Hall for taking care of the “starving actress” during filming days.
